Immerse yourself in the rich history of aviation through interactive displays, engaging exhibits, and a stunning collection of aircraft, including the legendary Boeing 747 and Super Constellation. Discover the courage and innovation that shaped Qantas into an international icon.

The museum’s highlight is the Boeing 747, open for guided tours that take you inside this iconic aircraft. Walk through the aisles, explore the cockpit, and experience what it’s like to be in the pilot’s seat. An absolute ‘must’ is the Wing Walk Tour where you can see the plane from the view you would only normally see from your window seat. It’s an experience you won’t forget.

Step into the past and learn about the incredible challenges Qantas pioneers faced in conquering the vast Australian outback. Their vision, determination, and spirit are brought to life through immersive storytelling.

Museum & National Heritage Listed Qantas Hangar

Established in 1996, the museum is dedicated to the history of Qantas, which greatly influenced Australian aviation and the global airline industry. The Qantas Heritage-listed Hangar in Longreach, built in 1922, witnessed the early days of Qantas Airways.
