Help us preserve Australia’s Aviation History
Qantas Founders Museum is a project owned by Qantas Foundation Memorial Ltd (QFM). Qantas Foundation Memorial Ltd (QFM) is independent of Qantas Airways Ltd and is a non-profit trust company established by the people of Western Queensland to honour the founders of Qantas and to preserve the heritage of Qantas Airways Ltd.
Qantas Founders Museum has engaged in two major projects which are vital to the preservation of iconic aircraft in Australia’s aviation history. We need your help.
Future Luminescent Longreach Projects
Qantas Founders Museum is the custodian of some of the most significant Qantas aircraft including the Boeing 747- 200 Jumbo Jet VH – EBQ and Boeing 707 138BB VH- EBA, the first Boeing aircraft purchased by Qantas.
To ensure the preservation of our national aviation heritage for future generations to enjoy, Qantas Founders Museum will develop future sound shows utilising the fuselages of the Boeing 747 and 707 and roof structure to tell the history of Qantas.
