Day 2

School of the Air - tour one of the largest classrooms in the world! Observe our school in action and learn how education is delivered using technology ‘in the bush’. Tours are run twice daily at 9:00 am and 10:30 am, Monday to Friday.

Visit Ilfracombe and the Iconic Wellshot Hotel - Travel to Ilfracombe , visit the machinery mile, Wellshot Centre and find out how the country rode on the sheep's back. With lunch (optional) at the iconic Wellshot Hotel, a MUST visit for great lunches, cold beer and  it's quirky themes and activities.

Outback Rail Adventure - Relax by rail, taking in the incredible landscapes and natural heritage story. On arrival at Darr River soak up the atmosphere and savour the experience over a boiled billy for an exclusive Smoko.
