Security Policy
When purchasing from Qantas Founders Museum or donating to Qantas Foundation Memorial Ltd, the parent company of Qantas Founders Museum, card details are transmitted through a secure server using the Westpac PayWay NET Payment Gateway. Card data is not hosted by Qantas Founders Museum or Qantas Foundation Memorial Ltd after processing.

Consumer Data Privacy Policy
Qantas Founders Museum and Qantas Foundation Memorial Ltd is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information we collect in relation to you is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on, sell or swap any of your personal details with anyone.We use this information to identify your orders, provide you with our monthly newsletter or send a hank you letter (if applicable) and to personalise your shopping experience with us.Qantas Founders Museum uses cookies to allow you to login, maintain a shopping cart and to purchase items in your cart. Cookies sent to your computer will only last while you’re browsing our website. We do not store persistent cookies on your computer. Cookies also allow us to give you a personalised shopping experience by displaying products that interest you throughout our product pages, thus providing you with a friendly and enjoyable shopping experience.

Bookings
To secure your preferred date and time, advance bookings through the online booking system are highly recommended especially through seasonal months (April to October).Once checked in, you must travel at the allocated time as indicated on your ticket and changes (including refunds for any unused portions) are not possible. Please contact our friendly reservations team to amend your booking.Please note any changes are subject to availability and any additional experiences/upgrades added to your itinerary will require additional payment.To download a copy of the 2023 Qantas Founders Museum Booking Contract click here.

Booking Amendments
Where possible QFM will honour change of date/time requests made with at least 5 days’ notice. This is not possible for all tours and is always subject to availability.Change requests made with less than 5 days’ notice will not usually be accepted. Change requests may be subject to an administration fee of 10% of the booking.

Booking Cancellations
All tour cancellations made by private groups, travel agents or the public where the booking consists of a tour/museum entry only, the following applies:The deposit paid at the time of booking is non-refundableCancellations are to be sent via email to bookings@qfom.com.au

Cancellations made up to 72 hours prior to the tour date receive a 100% refund with fees waived.Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the tour date will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.Cancellations made 24 hours (or less) prior to the tour date will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.

Should any cancellations be made due to COVID-19 and/or state border closures, to receive full refund of the tour price and waive cancellation fees, Qantas Founders Museum is required to be notified 24 hours prior to the tour date/time.

COVID-19
Qantas Founders Museum (QFM) is monitoring the impacts and concerns associated with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) very closely. In line with our core values, we are taking every precaution to prevent the spread of COVID-19 to protect our employees, customers, and our community.Please do not attend if any of the following apply to you:you have developed a fever, cough and other flu-like symptomsyou have recently returned from overseas and have not self-isolatedyou have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are under Queensland Health Isolation regulationsyou are a close contact to COVID-19 and showing symptoms.QFM always follows current Queensland Health guidelines and retains the right to alter COVID-19 policy and procedures if circumstances change. Any amendments to the QFM COVID-19 policy will be notified to the public through social media, website and any other relevant channels at the time.Please help us manage the risks to the health and safety of our staff and visitors by cooperating with the measures we have outlined above and by complying to social distancing where possible in public spaces.

Responsible Service of Alcohol
Qantas Founders Museum (QFM) and their related bodies are committed to the responsible service of alcohol (RSA) to ensure a healthy, safe and friendly environment for our patrons and team members in accordance with all regulatory requirements and with community expectations.As a licensee, harm minimisation and responsible service of alcohol is a key objective of QFM, and we have strict measures and practices in place to reduce the risks of alcohol misuse and abuse on our licensed premises. We strive to provide an enjoyable, safe and welcoming environment for all our guests to the museum.All team members involved in the sale, supply or service of liquor hold a recognised RSA Certificate.QFM acknowledges its duty of care to guests by taking all reasonable steps to ensure their safety while on the premises and, in case of intoxication, to facilitate their smooth departure from the museum.Abusive, argumentative, indecent or violent behaviour is not tolerated, and offenders will be removed from the museum premises if this occurs.Our venue is licensed to serve alcohol until midnight every day for pre-booked functions however last drinks will be called at 10:45pm for the 30 minute grace period.The House Policy can be sighted when on museum premises.
